On the evening of November 29, 2024, the life of Vanessa King, a 20-year-old Black/African American woman, was tragically cut short in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A dedicated in-home nurse and a loving mother to her one-year-old daughter, Vanessa was on her way to work when she was fatally shot.
