In the early hours of a cold Saturday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of 28-year-old Kuvina Vee Hickles was tragically cut short. On February 10, 2024, Kuvina, a Black/African American woman, was fatally shot in the Hampton Heights neighborhood, near 48th and Fairmount.
