In the summer of 2022, a sense of sorrow fell over a Milwaukee neighborhood when the life of a young child was abruptly cut short. Two-year-old Ranyla Tharp, a Black/African American female, was fatally wounded in what authorities have described as an accidental shooting on July 15, 2022.
