Tamecca A. Perry, a 23-year-old woman from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, tragically lost her life on March 6, 2016. Perry, who was nine months pregnant at the time, was shot and killed in her home during an altercation with Shanika Minor. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning near 30th and Auer. According to reports, Minor, who lived in the same duplex as Perry's mother, came to Perry's residence to settle an argument that had started over loud music a week prior.
