In the spring of 2021, a young woman's life was tragically cut short on the streets of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Maria E. Vazquez, a 24-year-old female, was fatally shot on May 18, 2021. The incident occurred near the intersection of 9th and Hayes, where she sustained gunshot wounds that would ultimately prove fatal. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, but despite their efforts, Vazquez was pronounced dead. One available online source has identified her as White / Caucasian.
