In the early hours of Friday, June 13, 2025, the life of 12-year-old Marvayah S. Darby, a Black female, was tragically cut short in her Milwaukee, Wisconsin home. Gunfire erupted outside her residence near the intersection of 73rd and Fairmount shortly before 1:30 a.m. a bullet pierced the walls of the house and struck Marvayah while she was in her bedroom.
