On January 6, 2019, 48-year-old Donna Duran from Cleveland, Alabama, tragically lost her life in a hunting accident near Dadeville. According to reports, the incident occurred late Sunday morning when a rifle discharged as it was being removed from the back seat of a vehicle, fatally wounding Duran. She was transported to Lake Martin Community Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
