In the early morning hours of Friday, June 16, 2017, the life of 53-year-old Alvester Merriweather came to a violent and tragic end in Nashville, Tennessee. His body was discovered by passers-by shortly before 8 a.m., lying in a parking lot at 5 Lafayette Street. The scene told a grim story; Merriweather had been severely beaten, and an autopsy later confirmed that he died from multiple blunt force injuries.
