In a tragic turn of events, 18-year-old Malachi Rybka was fatally shot inside an apartment in the Edgehill Homes neighborhood of Nashville on the afternoon of June 11, 2024. The young man was inside a residence in the 1000 block of Edgehill Avenue at approximately 2:15 p.m. when a gunman entered and opened fire. Rybka was struck multiple times and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
