Patricia Birmingham, a 16-year-old girl from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was found dead on March 20, 1949. Her body was discovered by firefighters in the Milwaukee River, weighted down with a 38-pound concrete block and showing signs of having been shot in the head. Patricia had been missing for 38 days before her body was found.
