In a tragic turn of events on a June evening, one-year-old Zy'aire Nevels, a Black female, lost her life in a senseless act of violence in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On June 3, 2023, what began as a dispute between adults escalated into a fatal shooting that cut short a life that had barely begun.
