Dermahni Aneil Hoston, a 21-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on September 1, 2022, in Columbus, Ohio. He was fatally shot in the 6000 block of North Hamilton Road, just before midnight. Despite the immediate lifesaving measures taken by the officers on the scene, Hoston succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 12:14 a.m.
