Eric Sankey, a 34-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost his life on September 7, 2023. On that fateful Thursday morning, at approximately 10:36 AM, Columbus police officers were dispatched to the 600 block of South Everett Avenue in response to a reported shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Sankey unresponsive and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
