De'Monte Rayford, a 20-year-old African American male from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost his life on August 10, 2020. He was fatally shot near a Gentleman's Club on Channingway Boulevard, just north of I-70 near Brice Road. The incident occurred around 12:40 a.m., and Rayford succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Columbus police arrested Deone Anthony Logan II, a 28-year-old man, in connection with the shooting. Logan was taken into custody in Akron on August 27, 2020, and was charged ...
