Debra Colliander, a 25-year-old woman, was abducted on June 23, 1980, from the parking lot of a shopping center in Aurora, Illinois. She was taken to the apartment of Bruce Lindahl, a suspected serial killer, where she was raped. Colliander managed to escape after Lindahl fell asleep and reported the crime to the police. Lindahl was arrested and charged, but he was released on bail. On October 7, 1980, Colliander went missing after leaving work. Her trial, scheduled for 1981, was canceled due to ...
