On March 4, 2006, Joseph Farkas, age 68, was found dead on West Park Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. His body was discovered lying next to his black Chevy pick-up truck in front of a wrecking and salvage business. Investigators believe that Farkas was forcibly removed from his apartment on Dakota Avenue and compelled to drive to West Park Avenue, where he was subsequently murdered. He died from a severe blow to the head, which is believed to be the result of an altercation.
Despite efforts by authorities, the case remains unsolved.
