On the night of July 16, 2017, Mohamed Abidraman Mead, a 33-year-old man, was fatally shot in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred at approximately 11:35 p.m. at a location in the 100 block of E. 11th Avenue. Columbus Police officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of gunfire and shouting. Upon arrival, they discovered Mohamed Mead suffering from a gunshot wound in a common area of an apartment building. He was rushed to OSU Main Hospital by CFD Medic 13 in extremely critical con ...
