On August 28, 2017, Terrance Donte Smith, aged 37, was found shot to death in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred in the early morning at around 5:03 a.m., when Columbus Police officers were called to the 700 block of East Mithoff Street after reports of shots being fired. Upon arrival, officers discovered Terrance Smith in the backyard of a residence at 753 East Mithoff Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
