Mohammad Shalash, a 59-year-old male of Middle Eastern descent, was tragically shot and killed on November 28, 2020, in Columbus, Ohio. Shalash, who had moved to Columbus from Jerusalem, Israel, over 40 years ago, was a well-known businessman in the community. He was found slumped over in the driver's seat of his car after it crashed into a telephone pole. Medics discovered that he had been shot in the chest.
