Lonnie Lambert, a 36-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, was fatally shot on February 22, 2017. The incident occurred when Lambert confronted his neighbors about frequent loud music and trash being thrown into his yard. According to his wife, Nichelle Lillard, the argument escalated when Lambert took off his shirt and was shot by a man across the street. Lambert was later pronounced dead at a hospital, while Lillard was treated for gunshot wounds to her leg and released.
