On the evening of May 12, 2023, 22-year-old Jawaun Micheal Fain was fatally shot in his Clintonville apartment in Columbus, Ohio. At approximately 9:18 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3200 block of North High Street. Upon arrival, they found Fain suffering from a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:27 p.m. Investigations revealed that Fain was inside his residence when shots were fired into his apartment, with at least one round striking and killing h ...
