William Caslin, Sr., a 64-year-old African American man from Columbus, OH, tragically died on May 5, 2022. He was shot while sitting inside his vehicle in a parking lot at an apartment complex in the 1800 block of Oakland Park Avenue. Medics pronounced him dead at 6:19 a.m. that morning. The incident occurred during an attempted drug deal, where Caslin had gone to purchase cocaine.
