In the early hours of January 1, 2023, an altercation erupted at Bucks Platinum Club, an adult entertainment venue located at 2830 Johnstown Road in Mifflin Township, near Columbus, Ohio. The dispute escalated into gunfire around 2:30 a.m., resulting in the death of 28-year-old Charles Earl Westbrook and injuries to four others. One individual sustained critical injuries, while the remaining three suffered non-life-threatening wounds.
