On July 29, 2016, 33-year-old Michael Beatty was fatally shot in Columbus, Ohio. The incident took place in the 1100 block of East 18th Avenue. At approximately 11:23 PM, police officers responded to a report of a man who had been shot. Upon arrival, they found Michael Beatty lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Michael was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival.
