On March 13, 2025, at approximately 1:56 AM, Columbus Police officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 3200 block of Sterling Ln. Upon arrival, they discovered Daymir E. Hill, a 19-year-old Black male, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound in the nearby 3200 block of E. 6th Ave. Emergency medical personnel from Columbus Fire swiftly transported Hill, a 19-year-old Black male, to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased at 3:15 AM.
