Kimberly Smith, aged 40, tragically lost her life on March 10, 2017, in Clinton, South Carolina. The circumstances surrounding her death were deeply distressing, as she was fatally shot by her estranged husband, Clinton Anthony Smith. The couple had separated about four weeks prior to the incident following a dispute. On the day of the tragedy, Clinton Smith forcibly entered Kimberly's home by kicking in the door and shot her four times while she was lying in bed after working a night shift.
