On May 6, 2023, 34-year-old Travet Tivialle Simpson was fatally shot at her residence on Dogwood Circle in Clinton, South Carolina. Deputies from the Laurens County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting around 2:15 a.m. and discovered Simpson deceased with a gunshot wound.
