On June 18, 2024, at approximately 10:49 p.m., Danville Police responded to reports of a shooting at the Woodside Village apartment complex on Piney Forest Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered 24-year-old Danville resident Tasean Delvecchio Farmer inside an apartment, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Farmer was immediately transported to Sovah Health, where he was pronounced dead.
