On April 24, 1978, Linda Jones, a 53-year-old woman, was found dead in Columbus, Ohio. Linda's death was particularly brutal; she had been severely beaten, and her body exhibited signs of a violent assault. It was reported that Linda had also been sexually assaulted. Despite an immediate investigation by local law enforcement, her case quickly went cold, with few viable leads that could identify the perpetrator.
