Demeki Lashae Walker, a 39-year-old woman from Columbus, Ohio, was tragically found dead in the early hours of December 23, 2016. Her body was discovered by Columbus firefighters responding to reports of a trash fire on South Eureka Avenue. Upon extinguishing the flames, the responders realized the fire had been set to conceal her body, leading investigators to treat the scene as a homicide.
