On April 25, 2024, construction workers discovered the body of 33-year-old Danyaze' Le'Shey Evans-Kourouma near the intersection of Noe-Bixby Road and Carbondale Drive in Columbus, Ohio. Responding officers pronounced her dead at the scene at 2:18 p.m. An autopsy conducted the following day confirmed that she had died from a gunshot wound.
