Amanda K. Perkins, a 36-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on July 14, 2022, in Columbus, OH. She was one of two victims found shot in the parking lot of the Van Buren Emergency Shelter in Franklinton. The incident occurred around 10:55 p.m. when police responded to a report of a shooting. Paramedics pronounced Amanda and the other victim, Rodney L. Reavish, 40, dead at the scene.
