Emmanuel Lee Bryant, a 41-year-old Black male from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost his life on June 4, 2021. He was shot and found unresponsive on the steps of a townhome complex on Canonby Place in the Franklinton neighborhood. Despite being rushed to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries at 4:30 a.m. The incident occurred around 3:51 a.m., and a 39-year-old woman was also grazed by a bullet but treated at the scene.
