Linda Carol Cowans, a 61-year-old African American woman from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost her life on September 10, 2019. She was shot inside her home on East 17th Avenue and later succumbed to her injuries at Grant Medical Center. The incident occurred around 9:50 p.m., and despite other family members being present in the house, they were in different areas and unable to provide details about the suspect.
