Darrick R. Boyer, a 24-year-old man from Akron, Ohio, tragically lost his life on December 31, 2019. Boyer was fatally shot during an altercation at the home of his girlfriend, Mariah Austin. The incident occurred when Dustin Austin, Mariah's cousin, and Deonbra Mosley arrived at the residence. An argument ensued, and Austin and Mosley allegedly forced Boyer to strip at gunpoint. As Boyer attempted to leave, Austin shot him multiple times, leading to his death.
