Brandon Lyons, a 28-year-old male of Euclidean ethnicity, was tragically shot and killed in Akron, Ohio, on March 17, 2021. He was found on the ground in the 700 block of Valdes Avenue after responding officers received a shots fired call. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, Lyons succumbed to his injuries at around 11:40 p.m. The incident marked Akron's fourth homicide in just one week, highlighting a concerning surge in gun violence within the city.
