Kanyae Lamb, a 17-year-old African American male from Akron, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed on June 27, 2021. He was a student and football player at North High School in Akron. Lamb was found with a gunshot wound in the 700 block of Elma Street and later died at Akron City Hospital. The incident is being investigated as a homicide by both the Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office and the Akron Police Department.
