Shawn Dotson, a 46-year-old African American man from Akron, Ohio, tragically lost his life on June 7, 2014. Shawn was well-known in his community, having served in the U.S. Navy and later becoming self-employed. He was passionate about basketball and was an active member of his church, New Millennium Baptist Church.
