Anthony Elmore, a 31-year-old man from Columbus, OH, tragically died on November 22, 2022. He was fatally shot in the South Linden neighborhood. Police were alerted to the shooting by ShotSpotter technology, which detected gunfire in the area around 7:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they found Elmore in a yard suffering from visible injuries. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:44 p.m.
