On August 11, 2024, at approximately 12:15 a.m., 13-year-old Na'Ryah Raye Wright was fatally shot near the intersection of South 19th and Derry Streets in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Responding to reports of gunfire, Harrisburg Police arrived at the scene and encountered a large gathering of individuals. Shortly thereafter, Wright arrived at a local hospital seeking treatment for gunshot wounds. Despite undergoing surgery, she succumbed to her injuries.
