On October 25, 2021, at approximately 9:40 p.m., Harrisburg police responded to a report of shots fired with a person down on the 1300 block of Susquehanna Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 27-year-old Jamie Bey, an African American woman, lying on the ground suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Bey was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Investigations revealed that Bey had been attending a birthday party at Al's Cafe, located on the same block
