Edward Earl Braswell, a 56-year-old African American man from Columbus, Ohio, tragically died on April 2, 2016. Braswell was shot while leaving his apartment to buy cigarettes at a nearby gas station. Witnesses reported that Emanuell Moncrief, a 22-year-old man, demanded money from Braswell before firing three shots, one of which hit Braswell's leg and caused a fatal injury.
