In the early hours of Saturday, March 7, 2026, the life of 18-year-old Nathaniel Kerby was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting outside a hotel in north Columbus, Ohio. The incident unfolded around 1:30 a.m. when police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Mediterranean Avenue after receiving reports of gunfire in the area. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Kerby suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
