On November 2, 2021, Darshawn Antonio "Moosie" Perry, a 39-year-old Black man from Columbus, OH, was tragically shot and killed in the 1600 block of Patton Avenue. The incident occurred at around 11:41 PM when Columbus Police Officers responded to a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, they found Mr. Perry suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
