Elmer Lee Hudler, a 60-year-old white male, passed away on April 21, 2014, at his home in Holly Ridge, North Carolina. His death was initially reported as a tragic incident, but further investigation revealed a more sinister story. Elmer Hudler was found shot to death in his home, and the case quickly turned into a murder investigation.
