Derek Dekovan Jones, a 37-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 25, 2015, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The incident occurred when Bruce Lawrence Master, a 25-year-old male, fired a gun into a home at 4743 Dominion Road, hitting Jones. Jones was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
