Perez Donovan McDuffie, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 19, 2015, in Goldsboro, North Carolina. McDuffie was found face down in a grassy area near the residence of Carlos Demoris Darden, a 40-year-old man who was later arrested and charged with felony murder in connection to McDuffie's death.
