Shortly after, the ShotSpotter gunfire detection system alerted authorities to gunfire in the same area. Upon arrival, officers discovered 31-year-old Larry Maurice Saunders Jr.
lying in the backyard of the residence, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services pronounced him deceased at approximately 10:48 p.m.
