Tyreek Dominick Moody, a 26-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 18, 2017, in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when police responded to reports of shots being fired in the 400 block of South Hollowell Street. Upon arrival, they found Moody suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of emergency medical personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
