Rasheed Devonte Jackson, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 10, 2020, in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a home invasion at his residence on Old Grantham Road. According to reports, the Wayne County Sheriff's Office responded to a breaking and entering in progress around 5:30 AM. Upon arrival, officers discovered that Rasheed Jackson had been fatally shot.
